Abstract

This paper gives a description of the relative Brauer group Br ( E / F ) \textrm {Br}(E/F) when F F has characteristic p p , [ E : F ] = p [E:F]=p , and the Galois group Gal ( E 1 / F ) \textrm {Gal}(E_1/F) is solvable, where E 1 E_1 is the Galois closure of E E over F F .
