Abstract

In this note, we show that for any σ \sigma -weakly closed bimodule M M of a CSL algebra A A satisfying M ⊇ A M \supseteq A , the commutant of A A modulo M M is equal to M M itself. Theorem 6 provided a result on the cohomology groups of CSL subalgebras of Von Neumann algebras.
