Small deformations of a class of compact non-Kähler manifolds

Abstract

Small deformations of Kähler manifolds are Kähler too; we prove here that this is not true for balanced manifolds nor, more generally, for p p -Kähler manifolds ( p > 1 ) (p > 1) , i.e., the property of being p p -Kähler is not stable under small deformations.
