In the Kostant-Souriau formulation of geometric quantization, one needs a supplemental structure, so called a polarization, in order to construct a quantum Hilbert space. So, it is natural to ask whether the obtained quantum Hilbert space depends on the choice of polarizations. This is a survey article for recent progress in the study of this problem and its generalization.
