Abstract
Light forms view of the environment and can influence the psychoemotional state in it. Human centric lighting was introduced after the receptor responsible for the effect of illumination on the circadian rhythm, that is, the nonvisual effect of light on the human body, was discovered. To form the concept of human centric lighting requires a holistic approach that takes into account both visual tasks and the psychoemotional state of users in this environment. The degree of discomfort may increase if there are glare light sources in the field of view. Insufficient monotonous illumination with sharp changes in luminance or contrast, which can be estimated using the spatialangular distribution of luminance, can also cause discomfort. The article proposes an experimental approach to assess the quality of illumination in laboratory conditions.
