Abstract

Previous studies of Donsumine showed that Donsumine at doses of 3, 5, 10 mg/kg enhances motor activity (MA), verticalization, and at a dose of 100 mg/kg reduces it by 60%. It was also established that Donsumine at doses of 3 and 30 mg/kg enhances the activation of MA and verticalization caused by phenamine, the increase in MA persists until the end of the experiment, and when canceled it is compared with control mice. When canceled, the activity of experimental and control mice becomes the same. It was also established that Donsumine in the "open field" experiments at doses of 1, 10 and 100 mg/kg enhances the search and research activity in the open field according to C. Hall [1]. These data, which are elements of nootropic action, were the basis for a more detailed study of nootropic action. It is known that α1 adreno and dopamine receptors are the main ones in the realization of the nootropic action of substances. Our studies of the nootropic action Donsumine showed that Donsumine accelerated the production of conditioned reflex of passive avoidance (CRPA), the development of the esophageal reflex in the classical maze, improved spatial memory in the water maze according to Morris. He showed antagonism to the amnestic action of scopolamine, the development of the esophageal reflex, as well as in experiments in the water maze according to R. Morris [2]. The antagonism of Donsumine and scopolamine was competitive.
