1. Since the ultimate objective is a simultaneous s o l u t i o n of t h e i n v i s c i d flow and boundary layer: a method based on the e a r l y simultaneous calculations was suggested in reference 9. I n t h i s approach, a line-relaxation technique was used f o r t h e i n v i s c i d flow, which was coupled d i r e c t l y t o an i n t e g r a l method f o r t h e boundary layer.
