1. To explore the effect of flow field match/mismatch in the oscillator/amplifier, Table 3.3 compares peak AR's as a function Of input power for Run 34 and Run 36 flow rates in the amplifier. This comparison shows that the match/mismatch of the oscillator/amplifier flow fields has a second order effect on amplifier performance, in most cases 10% or less, compared to the effects of Xc and power of the input beam. PSD's, like Fig. 3.2, show that while the distribution of power within the 1-0 and the 2+1 vibrational bands of the amplifier output PSD is insensitive to oscillator/amplifier flow field match/mismatch, in some cases, the amplifier decreases the fraction of power in the 1-30 vibrational band of the output PSD. 3. with one oscillator of the same type with the condition that each amplifier is operated at maximum delta (A). Any remaining input power is not utilized, cases 2-A & 2-8.
4. remaining input power is injected into an additional amplifier, cases 3-A & 3-B. Same as case 2 except that any remaining input power is injected into an additional amplifier, cases 4-A & 4-8.
