To thisend,ananalytical model was used to optimize the position of a single control array and threeerrorsensors. The model indicated the placement of the control array near the fan atx=0.25 m. Thusfor the next test, the single array of control sources was positioned at adistanceof;c=0.15mupstream of the fan which is the closest position to the optimum position that the experimental setup allowed.6
