Abstract
Curcumin is obtained from Curcuma longa, it possesses various pharmaceutical activities like antiinflammatory, wound healing, anti-cancer, etc. But low aqueous solubility and stability problems limit its use in pharmaceutical formulations. Nanocarriers like phytosomes, niosomes, and liposomes improve solubility and stability problems of curcumin. Curcumin's anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties were investigated in this study using nanocarriers (phytosomes, niosomes, and liposomes).
