Abstract
We live in a competitive and globalized world in which electronic commerce is a reality and a very interesting alternative. The opportunities for small and medium-sized SMEs to prosper their businesses via online sales of their products grow more every day. However, despite the fact that there are data and surveys that show the exponential growth of commerce and use of payment methods. electronics have not, registering an expected growth, that is, although there are infrastructure conditions that allow the use of the Internet and carry out electronic transactions effectively, there are factors that limit the adoption of this technology as an instrument that allows them to improve their efficiency and productivity. This research aims to propose a new classification system for SMEs through conglomerates, carrying out a preliminary study of the current situation of SMEs using multivariate methods such as Ward's method and factor analysis that allows validity when generating trading applications. Electronically in a simple way, SMEs will be able to provide performance and scalability at a reasonable cost. as a competitive factor.
