Abstract

The article examines the possible prospects for the development of the Russian economy due to the intensification of the processes of digital transformation. The eventuality of Russia’s digital transformation is due to many mutually influencing aspects: the development of Industry 4.0; the processes of redistribution of world domination; the accumulated potential of the Russian Federation and ambitious tasks that need to be solved in an accelerated mode to achieve the national goal of competitiveness and stability of the state. In the presented study a review of scientific publications on the topic of the digital economy and its transformation is made, the article identifies the areas of study of the issue. Along with this, an analysis of the regulatory framework of the Russian Federation in terms of ensuring the processes of digital transformation is made. An important aspect of the study is the analysis of foreign experience of digital transformation, which has both success and certain problems that need to be addressed in medium– and long-term state planning programs. The unconditional parameter of the implementation of the digital transformation of the Russian Federation is the participation in the global confrontation of countries with the target of accelerated technological development, and in the future – the formation of digital superiority to ensure the stability of the state development. The success of the national program «Digital Economy» depends on the targeted order of impact on all objects of the socio–economic systems of the Russian Federation, and in the next five years the Russian state should improve the efficiency of the use of information technologies.
