Megatrends of the future and their impact on management processes: gender characteristics

Abstract

The article analyzes the peculiarities of changing managers’ and employees’ skills in the conditions of emerging megatrends of the future that directly affect management processes. The six main skills of a manager that determine the effectiveness of his activities in the short term are presented. The article is based on the methodology of an integrated approach and system analysis. The theoretical basis of the article is the publications of Russian researchers devoted to the professional activities of managers, employees and their effectiveness. Familiarization with regulatory documents and government programs, methods of comparative analysis were chosen as research methods. The authors also used the method of expert assessments, normative and logical methods. The prospects for providing companies with professional staff are considered separately. One of the main criteria for the search and selection of new employees over the next 5–7 years will be work experience. In addition, a line of requirements for professional skills of employees is presented, focusing on individual significance for male and female managers. The information provided allows to navigate in the established directions of the development of personnel and managers competent profile to create professional teams of employees.
