Abstract

People belong to a society and culture, which is the common language of these societies; it cannot be separated from other facts that a person has. In order to provide a holistic care, culture should also be included in care. Culture has an effect throughout life as well as at the end of life. No matter what culture it is, death has an important place in every culture. Nurses often care for individuals from different cultures and are there at the end of life. The patient and his family; At the end of life, they want to be cared for according to their own beliefs, culture and rituals. Transcultural Nursing approach in terms of determining and applying cultural behaviors after death; It offers a holistic and humanist approach. A case report was prepared in order to draw attention to the cultural differences of the patients and to show the usability of transcultural model.
