Abstract

Loxostigma puhoatense (Gesneriaceae), hitherto known only from Vietnam, is reported for the first time from India. Detailed description, phenology, distribution, and colored photographs along with dissection are provided to facilitate easy identification in the field. An artificial key to Indian species of Loxostigma is also provided.
