Abstract
Pluchea sagittalis (Lam.) Cabrera is collected for the first time from Haryana, India. This species so far is known from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Florida, Paraguay, Trinidad-Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela (POWO, 2023). A detailed description along with field photographs, and key to Indian species of Pluchea is provided for easy identification in the field.
