Abstract
Metal Halide Perovskites are receiving great attention as a next-generation
emitter for display due to their excellent optoelectronic characteristics such
as high photoluminescence quantum yield and narrow emission spectrum. Many
research groups and companies are trying to apply perovskite emitters to
displays, but for commercialization, some obstacles like low stability must be
overcome. Herein, the advantages of applying perovskites in display devices are
reviewed. Development progress of perovskite display using a color conversion
film and limitations of current perovskite display technologies are summarized.
Finally, strategies to improve the stability of perovskite color conversion film
are described.
