Abstract
Background: Exams are one of the most important factors that increase the stress level of medical school students. The aim of this study is to investigate the perceived stress levels of preclinical medical school students and their methods of coping with stress before and after the online theoretical exam that will be held for the first time.
Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study and term I-III students of the Faculty of Medicine were included in the study. 377 students (67.2%) were participated in the study. A questionnaire including 11 questions about socio-demographic information, questions related to their thoughts on online exams in medical education and problems experienced in the online practice exam, "Perceived Stress Scale" and "Coping Stress Styles Scale" were used.
