The Role of Metaverse in Developing Soft Skills Among ESL Learners

Abstract

Metaverse world revolution will occupy its place among other technology tools during the coming decades. Therefore, education has become one of the most important areas that try to reap the benefit from Metaverse. The purpose of this article is to review the literature in order to clarify the concept of "Metaverse", its origins, and the modern approach to its use in education. This article finds that Metaverse plays a crucial role in developing soft skills that ESL learners need; such as communication skills, creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.
