Abstract

In this paper, we study the variety [Formula: see text] of three-dimensional Jordan algebras over the field of real numbers. We establish the list of [Formula: see text] non-isomorphic Jordan algebras and describe the irreducible components of [Formula: see text] proving that it is the union of Zariski closures of the orbits of eight rigid algebras.
