PARAMETRIZATION OF PMNS MATRIX BASED ON DODECA SYMMETRY

Abstract

The dodeca symmetry is designed to obtain the Cabibbo angle [Formula: see text] approximately 15° and the (11) element of V PMNS as cos 30°, leading to [Formula: see text]. This leading order dodeca symmetric V PMNS is corrected by small parameters, especially as an expansion in terms of a small parameter β. Neglecting two Majorana phases, the expression of V PMNS contains four parameters: a small β, and three [Formula: see text] parameters A, B and δ. From the neutrino oscillation data, we present two parametrizations and estimate their β's.
