Abstract
We consider (1, 0)-supersymmetric nonlinear σ models coupled to Yang–Mills fields. By using a regularization-independent algebraic method, we discuss the renormalizability of these models. In particular, we show that, though the algebraic method signals a potential anomaly, fixed by means of a nontrivial cocycle, an inspection of the component-field action reveals that no anomaly can be generated.
