RGE effects on neutrino masses in partial split supersymmetry

Abstract

We show that the running of the Higgs-gaugino–higgsino couplings present in Partial Split Supersymmetry can severely affect the neutrino masses generated through Bilinear R-parity Violation. We work within a scenario where the predicted atmospheric and solar neutrino observables satisfy the experimental constraints when this running is neglected. After including the running, we show that the atmospheric and solar mass observables become larger than the allowed experimental value already with low values of the Split Supersymmetric mass scale, and that this departure increases with larger scales. This shows that the correct prediction of neutrino observables in these models necessitates the inclusion of the running of these couplings.
