Abstract
We report on the most recent progress in charm and charmonium spectroscopy. Many new states have been discovered in the high statistics data sets from B -factories and CLEO experiment. Some of these particles are candidates for being exotic non [Formula: see text] states. We will concentrate on results obtained at the BABAR experiment which are based on up to ≈ 470 fb-1 of e+e- collisions at the ϒ(4S) resonance at the PEP-II linear accelerator at SLAC.
