Abstract
We show that O(αs) QCD corrections for the [Formula: see text], W+W−, and W±Z subprocess cross sections are approximately given by a factor [Formula: see text] times the lowest order cross sections, as previously found for the Drell-Yan [Formula: see text] subprocess. The calculations are made in the limit of soft virtual or real gluons. The result is confirmed for the high energy limit of [Formula: see text] by analogy with exact calculations of [Formula: see text] and Zγ cross sections.
