Abstract
In a classical optical ghost information system, broadband, random intensity fluctuations carry the information. A simulation code, from the generation to the correlation of intensity fluctuations, is developed. It is used to study random signals in the ghost polarization communication system. Results indicate that information security is not an intrinsic feature provided by the unique arrangement of components in the system. As long as the adversary can manipulate the signal and measure the intensity correlation without being detected, there is a risk of information leak.
