Fractional Guidance Law with Impact Angle Constraint and Seeker’s Look Angle Limits

Abstract

In this paper, using fractional mathematics, the guidance law of collision angle control is proposed by simultaneously taking into account the limitation of the seeker’s look angle. In order to apply the limitations of impact angle and launch in the equations of the acceleration command, the movement path from the time of launch to reaching the target is divided into three phases, and for each phase, a specific acceleration command is applied to the pursuer whose rules are based on optimizing and minimizing the control energy performance index with the weighting function obtained from range-to-go. The progress of the movement path and the parameters of the guidance law are compared with each other by passing three phases of the follower’s movement path with a constant speed for a fixed target in two cases of fractional and integer order.
