Abstract
The recent discovery of a new resistance anomaly in superconducting Cu-Zr metallic glasses with dilute magnetic impurities is briefly reviewed. The anomaly consists of a peak in the resistance immediately above Tc, which can reach up to 10 μΩ cm above the usual superconducting fluctuation region. The influence on the peak of the concentration of Zr, the concentration of magnetic impurities and of magnetic field has been investigated.
