Abstract

In this paper, we discuss a fifth-order [Formula: see text]-family peakon model with cubic nonlinearity, called the fifth-order [Formula: see text]-family Novikov (FObFN) model. Interesting solutions are provided including explicit single pseudo-peakons, two-peakons, and [Formula: see text]-peakon solutions. In particular, detailed dynamical interactions of two-peakons and three-peakons are investigated numerically.
