Possible Large Cooper Pair Gap at Room Temperature and Unusual Temperature Relation of the Gap in the Underdoped Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ

Abstract

Based on the quantitative explanations for the observed data on the relation between T*, the temperature revealing the pseudogap (PG), and the O hole doping, and for the observed probable unusual dependence of PG on temperature in the underdoped Bi 2 Sr 2 CaCu 2 O 8+δ (Bi2212), this paper predicts the existence of a large Cooper pair gap at room temperature for Bi2212 sample with Tc=0 K.
