Abstract
Cavitation is not rare in the field of the water conservancy machinery, and it also effects production and life deeply. To explore the results of cavitation, the formation, expansion, collapse and movement mechanism of the cavitation bubble are integrated and the theories of cavitation under various conditions are summarized; at the same time, the adverse effects and the available ways of engineering caused by cavitation are analyzed. Based on this, the ways or methods for further analysis, prevention or enhancement of cavitation in the field of engineering technology are proposed, so as to provide guidance for engineering technology.
