Noether symmetries of some non-static Bianchi type-III spacetimes in f(R,Lm) gravity

Abstract

[Formula: see text] gravity provides an alternative explanation for the late-time acceleration of the universe without introducing the concept of dark energy. In this paper, the non-static Bianchi type-III spacetimes have been derived by considering [Formula: see text]. The solutions of field equations of [Formula: see text] theory of gravity and Bianchi type-III metric have been obtained for some special cases by taking particular metric components. Noether symmetries have been discussed for the derived spacetimes and it was observed that all of the discussed spacetimes must have at least five Noether symmetries.
