GRAVITY ON EXOTIC R4's WITH FEW SYMMETRIES

Abstract

We use various results concerning isometry groups of Riemannian and pseudo-Riemannian manifolds to prove that there are exotic R4's which allow the action of only SO(n, 1), SO(n, 2) or finite groups as isometry groups.
