Abstract
We formulate totally consistent nonlinear equations of motion for massless scalar and spinor fields in 2+1 dimensions interacting through Chern-Simons higher-spin gauge fields. The dynamical systems under consideration can be interpreted either as higher-spin massless anyons in 2+1 dimensions or as singletons in 3+1 dimensions are explicitly invariant under the infinite-dimensional higher-spin gauge symmetries. Conventional anyonic and gravitational interactions of massless fields correspond to appropriate finite-dimensional subalgebras of the higher-spin superalgebras.
