Abstract
An extension of the previously introduced TSCSTFCF start-up demonstration procedure for the two-dimensional case is presented. It involves the testing of several units in parallel. A constrained optimization is set up for reducing the expected time of the test procedure subject to constraints on the confidence level on the probability of acceptance of the unit. Running several units in parallel shows the foreseen advantage in reducing the time of the duration of the tests for the present demonstration procedure compared to those of the single unit procedures. The standard deviation of the results for the common number of required tests for all units is much lower. The compromise between the number of tested units and the expected time length of the procedure is illustrated.
