Proof of a q-congruence conjectured by Tauraso

Abstract

Using a [Formula: see text]-series identity of Carlitz and a [Formula: see text]-analogue of Morley’s congruence due to Pan, we give a proof of a [Formula: see text]-congruence conjectured by Tauraso.
