Abstract
This paper discusses the planar closed orbits of the three-dimensional autonomous system [Formula: see text] where P, Q and R are polynomials with max { deg P, deg Q, deg R} = 2. We demonstrate that this system would not have any planar closed orbit for some coefficients.
