Abstract

Newly installed vertical-beam in-air PIXE system at CYRIC (Cyclotron and Radioisotope Center, Tohoku University) and some results of experiments performed for a year were described. Three different types of samples: thick metal plate samples, living root-tips of a plant and solutions have been measured successfully in the system.
