Abstract
We have carried out the resistivity measurements of dilute Pr(0.5, 1.0 and 1.4 atomic percent) in Pd from 60 mK to 300K. The resistivity data of all the alloys show In T behaviour from 21 K to 2 K and Kondo-like saturation in the impurity resistivity from 2 K to 60 mK. These measurements indicate Kondo instability of dilute Pr in Pd. The magnetoresistance data from 4 K to 25 K also show Kondo like behaviour. Our studies support the results of inelastic neutron scattering measurements in PdPr1.5 alloy.
