INTEGRABLE COUPLINGS OF MULTI-COMPONENT AKNS–KAUP–NEWELL EQUATIONS HIERARCHIES

Abstract

In this paper, hierarchies of multi-component AKNS–Kaup–Newell equations are derived, including positive nonisospectral AKNS–Kaup–Newell hierarchy and negative nonisospectral AKNS–Kaup–Newell hierarchy. Moreover, new integrable couplings of the resulting AKNS–Kaup–Newell soliton hierarchies are constructed by enlarging the associated matrix spectral problem.
