Abstract

Framework agreements (FAs) are widely used procurement mechanisms in both the private and public sectors. We redesigned the Chilean FA market using an experimental design, which led to a broad implementation. Extrapolating the pilot’s success, the redesign saved approximately $74 million in 2022.
