Abstract
AbstractBackgroundPhysical activity influence protein concentration and AChE level in human blood. The aim of this study was to assess influence of continuous monthly physical activity in healthy elderly individuals.MethodsData analysis was performed on total 62 participants. Participants differ based on gender and age. Level of activation and inhibition of enzyme AChE in blood has been measured utilizing substrate acetylcholine chloride (AChCL) and inhibitor eserine 0.1mM. The study has been expanded to investigate efficacy of enzyme AChE inhibition with BW284c51 0.01mM inhibitor.Data analysis is carried out with Microsoft excel 2007. Statistical software for analysis is IBM SPSS v 23.0. Descriptive statistics (mean +-SD) and parametric statistical tests (Pearson, Linear stepwise regression, T test and One way ANOVA) were assessed before and after 3 months of physical activity.ResultsContinual monthly physical activity has an effect on in vitro protein concentration, activation/inhibition of enzyme AChE in plasma and whole blood samples. Usage of diverse statistical test indicated diverse interpretation of final results.ConclussionOverall outcome confirms that monthly sport activity causes change of protein concentration and enzyme AChE activity in blood samples, making it a good strategic biomarker in health and disease. Physical activity has a beneficial effect on human wellbeing and disease prevention in healthy elderly individuals.
