Abstract
INTRODUCTIONLive imaging provides exciting opportunities to study dynamic cellular events as they occur in real time. However, such experimental procedures present several challenges. This article discusses some of the major considerations relating to the maintenance of live biological samples during ex vivo imaging and presents some relatively simple low-cost solutions for keeping samples healthy.
