Abstract
AbstractThe continual emergence and re-emergence of infectious diseases has led to a pressing need for the development of swift and targeted therapeutic interventions. SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19, is a prime example of such a rapidly spreading virus[1]. The global crisis caused by this virus has propelled researchers to explore and adopt novel techniques in the hopes of effectively combating its spread[2]. One such innovative approach is the use of aptamers—single-stranded RNA molecules that can bind targets with high specificity.
