Abstract

INTRODUCTIONThis article describes the factors that should be considered when microinjecting Xenopus oocytes. Forward planning is particularly important for embryo injection because the frogs lay eggs only for a limited time, and once the eggs are fertilized there is a very short period during which the embryos are suitable for injection.
