Abstract
AbstractImplementation of precision cancer medicine requires structured reporting of clinical actionable molecular alterations. The growing number of targeted anticancer drugs in clinical use and development necessitates a hierarchical ontology that focuses on the interactions between drugs and their targets and the impact of drug classes. Here we report the development of NCT POT (National Center for Tumor Diseases Drug Precision Oncology Thesaurus) Drugs, a manually curated cancer drug class ontology that integrates multiple data sources. This easily accessible resource is part of the NCT POT framework and can be downloaded at https://github.com/TMO-HD/nct-thesaurus with detailed documentation.
