Abstract
A CURRENT trend in mathematics education is a quest for unification. One manifestation of this trend is the growing number of unified courses; e.g., unified algebra and trigonometry, unified plane and solid geometry, unified calculus and analytic geometry, …. Even the traditionally distinct areas of algebra and geometry are being brought together in experimental courses in vector geometry, vector algebra, and transformation geometry.
