Abstract
In the February 1974 issue of the Mathematics Teacher, Robert W. Prielipp found two noncongruent isosceles triangles with the same perimeter and area. This leads to the question: Are there more than two isosceles triangles with the same perimeter, P, as well as the same area, k? I will show that there can never be more than two isosceles triangles having the same perimeter and area.
