Abstract
In this paper we focus on generalizing BRπ-matrices into the interval setting, including some results regarding this class. There are two possible ways to generalize BRπ-matrices into the interval setting, but we will prove that, in a sense, they are one. We derive mainly means of recognition for this interval matrices class, such as characterizations, necessary conditions and sufficient ones. Next we will take a look at interval B-matrices and interval doubly B-matrices, which were introduced recently, and present their characterizations through reduction, as well as such characterization for BRπ-matrices.
