One-pot synthesis of new macroheterocyclic phosphoranes

Abstract

Synthesis of new macroheterocyclic phosphoranes (2a–j) was achieved by one-pot reaction of equimolar quantities of N,N-bis-(5-t-butyl-2-hydroxy-benzyl) cyclohexylamine (1), POCl3 and various substituted phenols in the presence of NEt3 in toluene at room temperature with stirring for 1 to 3 days under nitrogen. Their chemical structures were established by analytical and spectroscopic data.
